Payment charges
Plan prices on our pricing page are unchanged. These charges apply only to the bank transfers you use to top up your school's wallet.
What is deducted from each transfer
- Gateway fee: 1.5% of the transfer, capped at ₦2,000.00. Charged by our payment partner, Monnify.
- VAT: 7.5% of the gateway fee only.
- AcademicLog technology fee: 0.1% of the transfer, capped at ₦50.00.
Your billing page shows these three together as one line, "Gateway, Technology & VAT", and tells you exactly how much to transfer to get the wallet amount you want.

Transfers are rounded up to a whole naira, because many bank apps don't accept kobo. Any small difference stays in your wallet as credit.
